'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

Colin Montgomerie, who was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame this week, will make his Champions Tour debut next month at Fox Chapel Golf Club.

Montgomerie has committed to playing in the Senior Players Championship from June 27-30 at Fox Chapel, the Champions Tour announced Thursday.

Montgomerie turns 50 the week of the Senior Players, making him eligible for the Champions Tour's second major of the season.

Montgomerie joins Greensburg native Rocco Mediate, Bernhard Langer and Steve Elkington among those who have committed to playing in the event. Defending champion Joe Daley and major champion winner Tom Watson and Tom Kite also are in the field.
