The following is a list of defendants charged with a first offense of driving under the influence in Westmoreland County criminal court. These defendants receive a standard sentence that includes enrollment in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for one year, attendance at an alcohol highway safety school and a one-month driver's license suspension.

The ARD program does not require defendants to admit guilt but does require that they be placed on probation. If they satisfactorily complete the probation, they may then file a petition to have the case expunged. Unless otherwise noted, court costs are placed on the defendant.

The defendants are:

The following is a partial list of criminal cases handled by judges in the most recent term of Westmoreland County criminal court. Judge Gilfert M. Mihalich

John Francis Sisko Jr., 27, of 3309 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail. He was ordered to attend an alcohol highway safety school, and his license was suspended for 12 months.

Scott Johns, 21, of 114 Story Road, Export, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance by person not registered. He was sentenced to 90 days to one year in jail. He also was ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Judge Richard E. McCormick Jr.

Mario Lancianese, 40, of 408 Walnut St., Latrobe, pleaded guilty to use/possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to probation for one year.

Judge Rita D. Hathaway

Anthony James Groff, 19, of 937 Cooper St., Vandergrift, charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, was accepted into the probation without verdict program for six months.

Judge John E. Blahovec

Bruce Clark, 53, of 295 Donnan Ave., Washington, pleaded guilty to criminal use of communication facility. He was sentenced to intermediate punishment for two years with one year of electronic monitoring. He was also granted work release.

Anganette Riili, 39, of 126 Shaffer St., Uniontown, pleaded guilty to forgery. She was sentenced to one to 23 months in jail. At a separate charge of identity theft, she also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for three years. Sentences are to run consecutively.

Calvin Lawrence Shawley Jr., 26, of 459 Route 31, Ruffsdale, pleaded guilty to robbery. He was sentenced to six to 23 months in jail and was ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Ronald Marquis, 40, of 357 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, pleaded guilty to simple assault. He was sentenced to six to 23 months in jail. At a separate charge of simple assault, he also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six to 23 months in jail. He was also ordered to complete anger management classes. Sentences are concurrent.

Harold O. Miller III, 29, of 410 Sacks St., Latrobe, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 10 days to 23 months in jail. He was ordered to attend an alcohol highway safety school and his license was suspended for 12 months.

Judge Debra A. Pezze

Robert T. Roach, 22, of 113 Magnolia Drive, Greensburg, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail. He was ordered to attend an alcohol highway safety school and his license was suspended for 12 months.

Jon Emil Weber, 41, of 1213 McClelland St., McKeesport, pleaded guilty to theft by deception. He was sentenced to probation for one year. At separate charges of theft by deception and bad checks, he also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for one year. Sentences are concurrent.

James J. Hudak, 41, of Greensburg, pleaded guilty to use/possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to probation for six months.

Shaina N. Testa, 21, of 716 Ellsworth Ave., Jeannette, charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment was accepted into the ARD program for one year.

Richard Derry, 39, of 72 Lincoln Ave., Hempfield Township, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to time served to nine months in jail.

David G. Lyn, 49, of 2287 Melwood Road, Leechburg, was sentenced to intermediate punishment for five years with six months of electronic monitoring for the charge of driving under the influence. He was ordered to attend an alcohol highway safety school and his license was suspended for 18 months. He was also granted work release.

Deborah Miller, 42, of 211 Walnut St., Latrobe, was sentenced to probation for six months for the charge of use/possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Terry Frank Stevens, 33, of 356 Foxhill St., Greensburg, pleaded guilty to simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. He was sentenced to three to 23 months in jail.

John D. Peden, 21, of 533 Rolling Hills Road, Ruffsdale, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in jail. He was ordered to attend an alcohol highway safety school and his license was suspended for 12 months.

Gregory A. Walker, 22, of 105 Bobcat Lane, Freeport, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. He was sentenced to three to 23 months in jail.

Melanie Ann Salsgiver, 24, of 199 N. Main St., Washington, pleaded guilty to retail theft. She was sentenced to probation for two years.

Frank S. Borelle, 34, of 404 Pump Station Road, New Alexandria, pleaded guilty to false identification to law enforcement. He was sentenced to probation for six months.

Ciara Laidley, 24, of 400 Motheral Ave., Monessen, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. She was sentenced to three to 23 months in jail with credit for time served. She was also ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Andre Ward, 31, of 640 10th St., Monessen, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. He was sentenced to 21 to 48 months in jail with credit for time served.

Heath Lanny Siegel, 39, of 506 10th St., Donora, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to two to 12 months in jail.

Steven Alan Harris, 21, of 14 Farmbrook Drive, Levittown, Bucks County, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance by person not registered. He was sentenced to two to 12 months in jail, with credit for time served.

Mark McGowan, 43, of 116 Talbot Ave., Greensburg, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to intermediate punishment for six months with 30 days of electronic monitoring. He was ordered to attend an alcohol highway safety school and his license was suspended for 12 months. He was also granted work release.

Matthew James Ramsay, 18, of 26 S. Fourth St., Youngwood, charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, was accepted into the probation without verdict program for six months.

Michael Noschese, 50, of 734 Cloverleaf Circle, Delmont, pleaded guilty to theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to probation for six months.

Thomas Allen Sangston, 47, of 36 S. Fourth St., Youngwood, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to probation for one year and was ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Kimberly M. Albright, 39, of 117 Kors Studio Road, United, pleaded guilty to use/possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to probation for one year. At a separate charge of receiving stolen property, she also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for one year. Sentences are to run concurrently.

Candance L. Zambo, 37, of 2171 Robbins Station Road, North Huntingdon, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. She was sentenced to intermediate punishment for five years with six months of electronic monitoring.

Edward Montgomery, 36, of 3329 Melwood Ave., Pittsburgh, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of motor vehicle. He was sentenced to probation for six months.

Mark P. Daube, 43, of 2304 Walsh St., Monongahela, pleaded guilty to harassment. He was sentenced to probation for three months.

Nathan C. Howard, 21, of 33 Sewickley Pines Manor, West Newton, pleaded guilty to corruption of minors. He was sentenced to probation for two years.

Jason Lee Schneider, 23, of 150 Supervisors Drive, South Huntingdon Township, pleaded guilty to retail theft. He was sentenced to two to 23 months in jail, with credit for time served.
