Speaking of boobs , Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is urging his countrywomen to forgo breast implants. He blames capitalism for the push (up?), of course, but also doctors who make smaller-bosomed women feel bad. He made no mention of rear-end implants, also popular in Venezuela. Ahem. ... Gov. Tom Corbett is under fire for, supposedly, breaking his no-new-taxes campaign pledge by saying he's open to local "impact fees" for Marcellus shale natural gas drillers. Not only does that not break any promise, it pretty much ensures that drillers pay for any damages they might cause without implementing a broad-based tax that government would quickly conscript for purposes never intended. ... The George Soros -funded liberal group Media Matters might be violating its tax-exempt educational status by announcing it will engage in "guerrilla warfare and sabotage" against Fox News, says Mark Tapscott of The Examiner in Washington. That's because the group's 501(C)(3) status prohibits partisan political activity. The IRS will nip this in the bud, right• If we had a buck for every snicker just snorted, we'd be rich.
