'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Pitt is planning to interview Ohio State interim coach Luke Fickell, Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst and Florida International coach Mario Cristobal in its quest to find a replacement for Todd Graham, a source told the Tribune-Review today.

Pitt athletic director Steve Pederson, who is out of town, is planning to meet with all three coaches.
