McGloin listed as top QB for PSU

By Pittsburgh The Tribune-Review
Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010

Matt McGloin is listed as the unconditional No. 1 quarterback on the Penn State depth chart released Monday night by the university's sports information department.

In previous weeks, the top of the depth chart included the word 'or' between the names of Matt McGloin and freshman Rob Bolden. The word 'or' does not appear on the new depth chart.

McGloin has led Penn State (6-3, 3-2) on its current three-game winning streak after Bolden, who started the first seven games, suffered a concussion at Minnesota on Oct. 23.

Coach Joe Paterno may further address the quarterback situation at his news conference today. Penn State plays Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus. Ohio State is No. 9 in the BCS rankings.
