OSU fullback transferring to Pitt

Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012

Former Ohio State fullback David Durham has decided to transfer to Pitt, university spokesman E.J. Borghetti said Monday.

Durham, who graduated from Christian High School in Charlotte, N.C., in 2010, spent the past two seasons with the Buckeyes, redshirting two seasons ago and getting little playing time last year. He was recruited by Ohio State as a defensive end before moving to fullback.

Durham, 6-foot-2, 245 pounds, will sit out the 2012 season, according to NCAA transfer rules, and be eligible in 2013.
