Comcast announces high school schedule

Comcast on Friday announced the schedule for its high school football Games of the Week. Among the matchups is the WPIAL Class AAA championship rematch Oct. 7 between Montour and Central Valley.

The broadcasts, which include the first three rounds of the WPIAL playoffs, will be available on demand for Comcast digital subscribers beginning three days after the game.

The schedule begins with Gateway's opener Sept. 4 against Bishop McDevitt. Other highlights include Class AAAA power Upper St. Clair at defending state champion North Allegheny on Sept. 16 and a Parkway Conference contest Oct. 28 featuring West Allegheny at Hopewell and star running back Rushel Shell.
