Walker-Kimbrough's 35 points leads Hopewell to WPIAL gold

Shatori Walker-Kimbrough put up a game-high 35 points -- and outscored the opposing team -- in leading Hopewell's 50-34 victory over South Park in the WPIAL Class AAA championship game tonight at Palumbo Center.

Kimbrough, a junior guard,?also had 15 rebounds and five blocks, along with a 16 for 16 performance at the free-throw line.

Hopewell (24-2) led by just a point entering the fourth quarter, but closed the game on a 17-2 run. • Ashley Mikelonis scored 15 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead South Park (22-3).
