Notable: The Sabres had a four-game winning streak snapped Wednesday in a 4-2 loss against the Ottawa Senators. It was only Buffalo's second loss in regulation this season. ... Injuries are to C Tim Connolly (concussion), D Henrik Tallinder (broken forearm), G Ryan Miller (abdominal strain), D Toni Lydman (neck injury), RW Maxim Afinogenov (shoulder).
