Pens select Veilleux with second draft pick

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Penguins selected right-handed center Keven Veilleux with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft, Saturday. Veilleux is listed at 6-foot-4, 202 pounds by the league's central scouting bureau. He was rated the 33rd overall prospect by that service and 52nd by independent service Red Line Report. Veilleux played last season Victoriaville of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He scored 20 goals and recorded 55 points.
