Notable: Miller lasted only 12:25 yesterday against the New York Rangers after allowing four goals on 11 shots. ... Conklin has never lost to the Sabres (3-0) in his career and is 2-0 this season with a 0.48 goals-against average. ... The teams have not met since the Penguins won a 2-1 shootout in the Winter Classic.
