Probable goaltenders: Sabres: Ryan Miller (30-23-9, 2.53 GAA); Penguins: Ty Conklin (17- 6-5, 2.35 GAA)

Notable: Miller has been outstanding against the Penguins this season but is 0-2-1 with a 1.64 GAA. ... Conklin is getting the start because he's 3-0-0 with a 0.65 GAA and a .980 save percentage against the Sabres. ... Conklin will be making his first start since March 1 in a 5-4 overtime loss in Ottawa. ... Buffalo is depleted along the blue line and could be without as many as four starters. ...
