Probable goaltenders: Sabres: Ryan Miller (30-23-9, 2.53 GAA); Penguins: Ty Conklin (17- 6-5, 2.35 GAA)

Notable: Miller has been outstanding against the Penguins this season but is 0-2-1 with a 1.64 GAA. ... Conklin is getting the start because he's 3-0-0 with a 0.65 GAA and a .980 save percentage against the Sabres. ... Conklin will be making his first start since March 1 in a 5-4 overtime loss in Ottawa. ... Buffalo is depleted along the blue line and could be without as many as four starters. ... Barring developments at today's morning skate, the Penguins will be without Marian Hossa for the sixth consecutive game.
