Penguins center Evgeni Malkin will play tonight against Boston at Mellon Arena. Head coach Dan Bylsma confirmed Malkin's status, but added that winger Chris Kunitz will miss two weeks with a lower body injury.

Malkin had missed seven straight games with a bruised right shoulder. The Penguins went 2-5-0 over that span and have lost four in a row.
