'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

The Steelers hosted four college prospects today, including a pair of cornerbacks and Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis.

In addition to Pettis, the Steelers met with cornerbacks Cortez Allen from The Citadel and Ras-I Dowling from Virginia at their South Side headquarters as well as University of Maryland running back Da'rel Scott.

Teams are allowed to host 30 out of town draft prospects prior to the draft, which will be held April 28-30.
