Passenger spies André 3000 playing flute at LAX terminal
It isn’t uncommon to see strangers playing instruments — the drums, a guitar, saxophone — in the most random of places.
But a celebrity doing so in the airport?
That may be a new one.
NPR Latino USA producer Antonia Cereijido was walking through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) when she spotted a man playing a flute.
She suspected he was André 3000 from the iconic Atlanta hip-hop duo Outkast.
In a tweet, Cereijido said she thought she was “losing my mind” because the man she suspected was Andre 3000 had been walking around the terminal for 40 minutes playing the flute.
To her surprise, “it WAS André 3000!!!!” she wrote followed by heart-eyed smiley emojis and two crying emojis.

In all, the discovery isn’t too far-fetched, as André is known for his eccentric and carefree lifestyle.

According to CNN, Cereijido asked the rapper about his instrument, which he said was an indigenous double flute.
“Three Stacks” had no problem posing with Cereijido for a photo.
Then, the twoboarded the same flight to New York, CNN reported.
The post went viral quickly with 250,000 likes 35,000 retweets. It was the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter by Saturday morning.

Andre 3000 playing the flute in a public airport terminal is pretty much the only reason I still have hope for the human race.
