Hempfield company offers 25% discount to clients of closing competitor
Hempfield-based e-waste recycler CyberCrunch is offering a 25% discount to clients of Arrow Electronics, which is closing its IT asset disposition business by the end of the year.
Centennial, Colo.-based Arrow Electronics announced on Thursday that it was closing its ITAD business, known as Arrow Sustainable Technology Solutions, because of a market downturn. Its nine ITAD locations will stop accepting materials for recycling and disposal by Aug. 5.
CyberCrunch President Serdar Bankaci said the company, founded in 2012, will welcome former Arrow customers by offering a 25% discount to their existing contracts through the end of 2019, with agreed-upon contract extensions.
“We understand this may be a difficult time for Arrow customers,” Bankaci said, “but CyberCrunch is here to make the transition for Arrow customers seamless, efficient and cost effective. We have set up a hotline for Arrow customers to call with questions and to receive their 25% discount.”
Arrow customers are asked to call CyberCrunch at: 1-866-925-2354, ext. 100.
CyberCrunch competitors, including ERI, Ingram Micro and Advanced Technology Recycling, offered similar services to Arrow customers.
