Bagels go Irish for St. Patrick's Day
While wearin' the green and drinkin' the green (beer), save some room for the eatin' of the color symbolizing St. Patrick's Day this weekend.
If it's breakfast in shades of the Emerald Isle you're craving, Bruegger's Bagels will oblige.
It's once again offering its shamrock-green bagels, a 21-year tradition begun at a Pittsburgh Bruegger's Bagels location, according to a news release.
The bagels will be available while supplies last at participating locations on March 16-17, the release states.
"Our green bagels are always a fun and delicious way to celebrate the holiday at work, school or home," says Leigh Anne Snider, company president, in the release.
No leprechauns or pots of gold are promised. But customers can access a $2 off coupon on the Big Bagel Bundle - a baker's dozen of any bagels and two tubs of cream cheese - on the company website.
