Allegheny County on Friday reported 364 additional cases of coronavirus, slightly above the seven-day average of 352, according to data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Of the newly reported cases, 287 are confirmed from 1,314 new PCR tests and 77 are recorded as probable, according to the Allegheny County Health Department.

The new cases range in age from 1 month to 103 years with a median age of 46 years, the Health Department reports.

The county added 39 covid-related deaths to raise the total to 1,451 since March. The new deaths occurred from Jan. 2 through Tuesday. One person was in their 50s, seven in their 60s, six in their 70s, 12 in their 80s, 13 in their 90s. Seventeen of the new deaths were associated with long-term care facilities, according to the Health Department.

Allegheny currently has 345 patients hospitalized for covid-19, with 81 of those in intensive care units and 33 using ventilators. Of the 1,181 ventilators in the county, 286 are in use for all illnesses. The county has had 4,221 hospitalizations for covid-19.

The county has had 334,856 people test negative for the coronavirus.
