Franklin Park, Marshall seek applicants for job openings

Several municipalities in the North Hills are seeking applicants for positions that require varying degrees of experience and education.

• Franklin Park has an opening for a full-time recreation program director. The job requires someone who is “highly motivated, energetic and creative professional” to lead the borough’s community’s recreation programs.

Candidates must possess strong organizational and social media skills, a strong background in recreation programming and a demonstrated competence in organizing activities for people of all ages, interests and abilities.

A bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation or related field also is required.

• Franklin Park also is seeking part-time cashiers for immediate openings at the Clover Hill Golf Course. The positions, which include evening and weekend shifts, run through Nov. 21.

• Marshall Township is accepting applications for a full-time position as a residential building inspector/assistant zoning officer/code enforcement officer.

Candidates must have five years of experience in planning, zoning, building code inspection and administration.

Applicants also must possess valid state Uniform Construction Code certifications for residential building inspection.
