A bus driver for the West Mifflin Area School District has been cleared after police determined kids made up the allegations against him.

Police used time-stamped audio and video recordings from the bus to substantiate the driver’s innocence.

“The statements from the juveniles in question are completely discredited,” police said.

Allegations of a bus driver inappropriately touching middle school students were made Tuesday. The driver was placed on leave during the investigation, and parents were notified. It is not known if the driver has returned to work.
