Police seek suspect in Pittsburgh's Manchester shooting
Pittsburgh Police have identified the man they say is responsible for shooting two people in the city’s Manchester section.
Tramaine Solomen, 30, of East Liberty is wanted on two counts of attempted homicide in connection with Tuesday’s shooting just after 3:30 a.m.
Solomen should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Police said Solomen drove up to another car and shot a man and a woman sitting in the 1300 block of North Franklin Street.
The male victim tried to drive away but crashed into the back porch of a home.
Responding Zone 1 officers found the female victim behind the home with at least one gunshot wound to the torso. The male victim was found inside the home with at least one gunshot wound to the leg.
The pair remains hospitalized, with the woman in critical condition and the man in serious condition.
Police said they were alerted to the incident by a spot shotter device.
Anyone with information on Solomen’s whereabouts should call Pittsburgh Police’s Group Violence Intervention detectives at 412-323-7800.
