Lane restrictions, closed ramps for work Friday and Saturday on Parkway North
Paving and line painting along a section of the Parkway North will affect traffic patterns on Friday and Saturday, PennDOT announced.
A section of the Parkway North will be reduced to a single lane from 7 p.m. on Friday to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The lane restriction will be between the Suffolk Street Bridge and the McKnight Road/Evergreen Road, or Exit 4, interchange.
The northbound I-279 off-ramp at Perrysville Avenue — Exit 5 — also will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday for paving, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Ramp traffic will be directed to follow a posted detour.
Single-lane restrictions also will occur in each direction on Camp Horne Road between the northbound and southbound on-ramps to I-279 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for line painting.
