PennDOT plans job fairs in 3 counties

Winter employment opportunities with PennDOT will be the subject of three job fairs this month in District 12, which covers Westmoreland County.

Prospective employees can visit 144 Donohoe Road in Hempfield, near Westmoreland Mall, from noon to 8 p.m. July 18. Agency employees will talk about job openings during the wintertime and help job seekers apply.

Available positions include diesel/automotive mechanics who have a commercial drivers license, CDL operators, clerks, tradesman helpers and semi-skilled laborers.

Other PennDOT locations will have job fairs from noon to 8 p.m. on the following days:

• July 16, 825 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Fayette County.

• July 23, 170 Route 519, Eighty-Four, Washington County.
