Woman dies in 3-vehicle crash in Westmoreland County
A Forbes Road woman died Monday in a three-vehicle crash along Route 819, Salem Township, the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office said.
Tamara Wolf, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner John Ackerman at 2:09 p.m.
The crash happened about 1:30 p.m. near Route 819 and Fire Station Road, according to county dispatchers.
Wolf was driving south on the highway when she crossed the center lane and drove into the path of a flatbed auto carrier truck headed northbound, according to the coroner's office.
