Nominations will be accepted via regular mail, personal delivery to the WHS office at 809 Forbes Trail Road, Greensburg, PA 15601, or email to [email protected]. Deadline is 5 p.m. Aug. 15.
The 2019 awards will be presented at the 20th annual Arthur St. Clair Historic Preservation Awards Dinner on Oct. 23 at Rizzo’s Banquet Hall in Crabtree.
Recipients of the 2018 awards were Olga Herbert, founding executive director of the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor; the Independent Battalion Westmoreland County Pennsylvania; and the Latrobe Community Revitalization Program’s Design Team.
The award is named in honor of Founding Father Arthur St. Clair, a major general in the Continental Army, president of Congress under the Articles of Confederation and the first governor of the Northwest Territory.
