Newsmaker: Stephanie McMahon

Noteworthy: World Wrestling Entertainment announced Thursday that Stephanie McMahon was named to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation board of trustees. McMahon, the daughter of WWE majority owner and chairman, Vince McMahon, got involved with Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in 2014 when she and her husband, Paul “Triple H” Levesque met WWE fan Connor Michalek of Hampton. Connor died at age 8 of medulloblastoma, a rare tumor that affects the brain and spinal cord.

Age: 38

Residence: Greenwich, Conn.

Occupation: Chief brand officer for WWE. She is responsible for working with WWE to support key growth initiatives. McMahon is also a TV personality, appearing regularly on the cable show “Monday Night RAW.”

Education: Bachelor's degree in communication from Boston University in 1998.
