Shady Side Academy senior Clayton Krol signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at High Point University on the first day of the early-signing period on Nov. 9.

Krol is a four-year starter for the SSA varsity boys lacrosse team, playing both attack and midfield. As a junior in 2016, he was named to the All-WPIAL team, the All-MSLCA second team and the US Lacrosse High School All-America team. He helped the Indians to a first-ever WPIAL championship as a freshman in 2014. Krol also is a member of SSA's varsity football and basketball teams.

High Point University's men's lacrosse program competes in NCAA Division I in the Southern Conference. Goodman plans to study molecular biology at the university.
