Fox Chapel Varsity hockey captain Ben Friedland is the Spotlight Athlete this week.

Fox Chapel hockey player Ben Friedland, a senior, scored four goals in the Foxes' 5-1 win over Baldwin last week. He is fourth in PIHL scoring with 13 goals and 11 assists. He is undecided about a college but wants to major in biology and continue playing hockey. For his efforts, he is The Herald Spotlight Athlete.

A: I always tie my left skate before my right skate.

Q: If you weren't a hockey player, what sport would you be involved with?

A: Lacrosse.
