It looks like there will be a confrontation, of sorts, before Conor McGregor's return to the octagon.

A press conference for UFC 229 will take place Sept. 20 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, it was announced Wednesday. And both McGregor and UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are confirmed for the event.

The former UFC champion will take on Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight title Oct. 6 at UFC 229, which will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Nurmagomedov and McGregor have been at odds since the infamous bus incident that McGregor carried out.

According to mmafighting.com, McGregor and his entourage stormed Brooklyn's Barclays Center following an April 5 media day for a UFC pay per view and attacked the fighter bus carrying Nurmagomedov. McGregor went on to throw a dolly through the bus window, injuring several fighters.

McGregor's last MMA fight was Nov. 12, 2016 against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 from Madison Square Garden.
