Scottdale BPW holds 'night out' meeting
The Scottdale Business & Professional Women's Club will hold it its "night out" meeting at 6:30 tonight at the home of a club member.
A perennial sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Paradise United Methodist Church pavilion, 105 Hoke Road, Route 982, Mt. Pleasant. I attended the Southmoreland 2011 Senior Class Day awards presentation as a representative of the Scottdale Business & Professional Women's Club and presented students with scholarships. I was accompanied by councilwoman and past president of the Scottdale Area Chamber of Commerce Joan Brown. She gave gift cards for students who were selected as students of the month throughout the school year.
