Burglary suspects waive hearing
Jonathan V. Costabile Jr., 20, and Donnell Black, 18, both of 130 Polecat Hollow Road, Connellsville, and James R. Groh Jr., 23, of 1906 Second St., South Connellsville, all were charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy and theft by unlawful taking in connection with a burglary Feb. 19 at the home of Raymond and Mary Jo Wilhelm, 14 Sunrise Circle, Bullskin Township.
Black also was charged with a burglary at the home of John Faris, 2930 Moyer Road, Bullskin Township. In addition to the Faris break-in, Costabile has been charged with two other burglaries at homes in Breakiron's jurisdiction.
The two also face charges for additional burglaries filed at the offices of District Justice Ronald Haggerty and Dwight Shaner. They have either waived or are expected to waive their rights to those hearings.
Fayette County Assistant District Attorney Douglas Sepic said yesterday that tentative plea agreements were worked out with Black and Groh in exchange for their cooperation in the case against Costabile, the alleged ringleader of the group.
All three will face court arraignments June 21 in the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas.
