High school football playoff scenario

Quad A
Quad North

Mt. Lebanon (4-1), North Allegheny (4-1), North Hills (4-1) and Bethel Park (3-2) have clinched.

North Allegheny clinches first place with a victory over North Hills. Mt. Lebanon clinches first or second with a victory over Bethel Park. North Hills clinches first or second with a victory over North Allegheny.

Quad East

Woodland Hills (5-0), Central Catholic (5-1) and Penn Hills (4-1) have clinched. McKeesport (2-3) clinches with a victory at Baldwin. Baldwin (1-4) clinches if it beats McKeesport by at least seven points, OR it wins and Connellsville loses to Hempfield.

Woodland Hills has clinched first place. Central Catholic has clinched second place unless Penn Hills beats Woodland Hills by more than seven points.

Quad South

Penn-Trafford (5-1), Plum (5-1) and Latrobe (4-2) have clinched. Kiski Area (4-2) clinches with a victory at Indiana. Franklin Regional (3-3) clinches with a victory over Gateway AND a Kiski Area loss to Indiana.

Quad West

Upper St. Clair (6-0), Ringgold (4-2), Canon-McMillan (4-2) have clinched. Trinity (4-2) clinches with a victory over Canon-McMillan, or a Fox Chapel loss to Upper St. Clair. Fox Chapel (3-3) clinches with a victory at Upper St. Clair AND a Trinity loss to Canon-McMillan.

Class AAA
Big Seven

West Mifflin (4-1), West Allegheny (4-1), and Thomas Jefferson (4-1) have clinched. The winner of the Chartiers Valley (2-3)-Keystone Oaks (3-2) game clinches.

Greater Allegheny

Hampton (5-0) and Kittanning (4-1) have clinched. Pine-Richland (3-2) clinches with a victory over Knoch. Highlands (3-2) clinches with a victory over Kittanning. Knoch (2-3) clinches with a victory over Pine-Richland AND a Highlands victory over Kittanning. If Pine-Richland, Highlands and Knoch all finish tied at 3-3, it will be settled by point differential. Pine-Richland is +11, Highlands +11 and Knoch +4.

Keystone

Uniontown (5-0), Greensburg Salem (3-1) and Belle Vernon (3-2) have clinched. The winner of the Derry (1-3)-Yough (1-3) game clinches.

Parkway

Hopewell (5-0), Moon (4-1) and Blackhawk (4-2) have clinched. New Castle (2-3) clinches with a victory against Ambridge. Ambridge (1-4) clinches with a victory over New Castle AND losses by Ellwood City to Hopewell and Montour to Moon. Ellwood City (1-4) clinches with a victory over Hopewell AND a New Castle loss to Ambridge. Montour (1-4) clinches with a victory over Moon AND a Ambridge victory over New Castle.

Class AA

Allegheny

Mars and Apollo-Ridge have clinched. Burrell (5-2) clinches with a victory at Apollo-Ridge. Ford City (5-2) clinches with a victory over Freeport. Freeport (4-3) clinches with a victory over Ford City AND a Burrell victory over Apollo-Ridge. If all three teams finish tied at 5-3, it will be settled by point differential. Ford City is +28, Burrell +24 and Freeport +13.

Century

Jeannette (5-1) has clinched a spot. The winners of the Steel Valley (4-2)-South Park (4-2) and Brentwood (4-2)-North Catholic (4-2) games qualify. The fourth spot will go to one of the losers of those games. Brentwood qualifies with a South Park loss. Steel Valley qualifies with a Brentwood loss. North Catholic qualifies with a Steel Valley loss. South Park qualifies with a North Catholic loss.

Midwestern

Beaver Falls (6-1) and New Brighton (6-1) have clinched. Aliquippa (5-2) clinches with a win over Center (4-3) OR a Mohawk loss to New Brighton. Mohawk (4-3) clinches with a victory over New Brighton OR a Center loss to Aliquippa. Center (4-3) clinches with a victory over Aliquippa.

Interstate

Washington (6-0) and Waynesburg (5-1) have clinched. Carlynton (4-2) clinches with a victory over Seton-La Salle (3-3). Brownsville (3-3) clinches with a victory over Waynesburg AND a Seton-La Salle loss to Carlynton. Charleroi (3-3) clinches with a victory over Washington, AND a Brownsville loss to Waynesburg. Carlynton can lose and still make the playoffs if Brownsville and Charleroi lose. If Seton-La Salle, Brownsville and Charleroi all finish at 3-4, it will be settled by point differential. Brownsville is +6, Charleroi +5 and Seton-La Salle +1.

Class A

Eastern Conference

Greensburg Central Catholic (6-0), Duquesne (5-1) and Riverview (4-2) have clinched. Wilkinsburg (4-2) clinches with a victory over Duquesne, or a Riverview victory over Springdale. Clairton (3-3) clinches with a victory over Greensburg Central Catholic AND losses by Riverview and Wilkinsburg.

Ohio Valley

Fort Cherry, Cornell, South Fayette and Burgettstown have clinched.

Big Seven

Monaca (6-0), Rochester (5-1) and Farrell (5-1) have clinched. The winner of the Western Beaver (3-3)-Sto-Rox (3-3) game clinches.

Tri-County South

Monessen (7-0), Carmichaels (6-1), Mapletown (6-1) and California (5-2) have clinched.

City League

Perry (8-0), Westinghouse (7-1) and Peabody (6-2) have clinched. Oliver (4-4) clinches with a victory over Brashear. Brashear (4-4) clinches with a victory over Oliver AND a South loss to Perry. South (4-4) clinches with a victory over Perry AND a Brashear victory over Oliver.
