Big match in Section 1-AA
The match of the season in Section 1-AA will take place today at Mt. Pleasant Area High School's old gymnasium.
The top two teams in the Tribune-Review Class AA poll — No. 1 Burrell and No. 2 Mt. Pleasant — will battle for the top spot in Section 1 and in the rankings.
The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. Because of on going construction at the high school, the match will be held in the old high school gymnasium instead of the new junior high school gymnasium.
Both teams have lost to the top ranked Class AAA teams in the Tribune-Review rankings. Burrell (4-1, 4-0) lost to No. 1 Kiski Area on Jan. 4, and Mt. Pleasant (9-1, 4-0) was beaten by No. 2 Canon-McMillan on Dec. 21.
