Women's National Basketball Association

WNBA -- Suspended Detroit F Plenette Pierson for four games and Detroit assistant coach Rick Mahorn, Los Angeles G Shannon Bobbitt and Los Angeles G Murriel Page for two games for their part in a skirmish in a July 22 game at Detroit. Detroit's Kara Braxton, Tasha Humphrey, Elaine Powell and Sheri Sam and Los Angeles' Lisa Leslie, Candace Parker and DeLisha Milton-Jones each received one-game suspensions.

DETROIT SHOCK -- Signed G Nancy Lieberman to a seven-day contract.
