‘Saved by the Bell’ stars mark 30 years of friendship
The stars of the hit 1990s show “Saved By the Bell” got together last weekend for a reunion dinner and shared a photo for fans.
Actors Mario Lopez, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen (and their significant others) had dinner together Saturday night at restaurant Petit Trois in Sherman Oaks, Calif., USA Today reported.
Lopez, Theissen and Berkley posted a group photo on their accounts with the caption “Friends forever…”, referencing the song from the show’s fictional band, Zack Attack.
Gosselaar shared the photo with the caption, “This is what 30+ years of friendship looks like.”
Lopez also shared an addition video, “Fun dinner tonight with some old friends. … We ate an obscene amount of food. … Great group right here, now it’s time to play credit card roulette for the bill.”
Fellow castmates Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies did not appear to be at the gathering.
“Saved by the Bell” aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993. This August will be its’ 30th anniversary.
And for the sake of nostalgia, here’s a video of the show’s intro song.
