The Glass City Swing Band will perform music of the 1940s and 1950s during “A Swingin’ Christmas Spectacular,” a fundraiser for individuals with special needs.

The 18-piece band will celebrate the nonprofit’s inaugural fundraising event to support GCSB Arts, Education and Wellness. The organization benefits Westmoreland County residents with special needs through disabilities awareness, art therapies and preserving history through music, specifically that of the Swing Era, according to a release.

The gala will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at Ferrante’s Lakeview, 6153 Route 30, Hempfield.

Included will be basket raffles and the opportunity to sponsor a participant.

Tickets are $40.
