Comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan hosts one of the most popular podcasts, "The Joe Rogan Experience," which regularly receives millions of views on YouTube.

America’s most popular podcast host, comedian Joe Rogan, will bring his “Sacred Clown” stand-up comedy tour to Pittsburgh on May 16.

Rogan, who has also provided color commentary for Ultimate Fighting Championship fights since 2002, has been a stand-up comedian for the past 25 years, with two albums and six hour-long specials on his résumé.

And while Rogan was already successful in both his comedy and commentary careers, it has been his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, started in 2009, that truly catapulted the New Jersey native to international stardom. The video version of his podcast regularly receives millions of views on YouTube, with the Feb. 21, 2020, episode surpassing a million views in just three days.

In 2019, Rogan hosted three presidential candidates — Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang — on the podcast, and has said the lengthy conversations with guests often inspire ideas for his stand-up performances.

Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena will be Rogan’s fifth stop on the tour, on May 16. He will also perform two shows at The Met in Philadelphia on Aug. 28 and 29.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com and JoeRogan.com.
