After a three-year hiatus, the Wizard World convention is returning to Pittsburgh.
“Shazam!” star Zachary Levi is among the celebrities scheduled to appear this weekend at the pop-culture show, held July 26-28 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
Other notables include the “Charmed” duo of Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause, Samm Levine (“Freaks and Geeks”), Jason Faunt (“Power Rangers Time Force”) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (“Rookie of the Year”). It will also feature live entertainment, movie screenings and question-and-answer sessions.
In additon to the featured guests, Kurt Lehner (“Gargoyles”), Howard Bender (“Superman”) and Shawn Coss (“Cyanide and Happiness”) are among the leading creators scheduled in Artist Alley.
Also, there will be a costume contest on Saturday. The event is open 4-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Children 10 and younger are admitted free with paid adult. Prices vary, from $14.99 to $34.99 for single admission, with a discount for 3-day pass.
