After Pittsburgh was the setting for a skit on the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live,” we wanted to find the other times the city or its sports teams have been featured on the long-running NBC comedy show.

Here’s a partial list of the times Pittsburgh was featured in skits.

• Incident at legal change of name office in Pittsburgh federal building, starring host Chris Rock. (Oct. 3, 2020)

• A Pittsburgh Steelers helmet makes an appears in this clip with Kenan Thompson, playing Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett as he tries to explain why he swung at Mason Rudolph. (Nov. 16, 2019)

• Host Kristen Stewart and cast members star in a commercial for Duolingo — the Pittsburgh-based language-learning website — for talking to children. (Nov. 2, 2019)

• Travel Expert Carrie Krum (played by Aidy Bryant) talks about Spring Break destinations — including Western Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh — on Weekend Update. (April 13, 2019)

• Kenan Thompson portrays Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison on Weekend Update, talking about his 100-yard interception for a touchdown in Super Bowl XLIII. (2009)

• Seth Meyers played a Pittsburgher who tried to impress a woman, played by host Paris Hilton, with assorted Pittsburghese. (Feb. 5, 2005.) Meyers is a fan of Pittsburgh and its sports teams, thanks to his father, who grew up in East Liberty (as Meyers described in this Trib interview last year).

Tracy Morgan played ex-Pirates outfielder Jermaine Allensworth on “Perspectives” talk show. (April 12, 1997)

• Pittsburgher Michael Keaton was host in 1982 and talked about the joy of trick-or-treating and his childhood Halloween costumes. (1982)
