Budweiser's video celebrating stepfathers is a tearjerker
Budweiser is raising a glass to stepdads this Father’s Day with a video that captures real stepchildren surprising their stepfathers with requests to be adopted.
The video, posted Wednesday, shows three adults who confess that they weren’t very open to the idea of having a stepfather when it first happened. But, over the years, they came to realize that the addition to the family had their best interests at heart.
They grew to love these men and accept them in the role of their father.
The video opens with the line, “For Father’s Day, these three stepfathers were surprised with the greatest gift of all.”
This #FathersDay, we want to celebrate all fathers who have stepped up. Mark became Victor’s stepfather 19 yrs ago. Now Victor wants to surprise Mark with the greatest gift he could give. To Mark, and all fathers, #ThisBudsForYou.

The video depicts the moment that each of the three people asks their stepfather to drop the “step” and legally adopt them as their own.
This had me tearing up this morning. I'm fortunate to have both a dad and a stepdad in my life but not every kid does... https://t.co/CZ8pNBqLmE
