Plucked straight from the “Hollywood needs some original ideas” file, the trailer for the new “Charlie’s Angels” movie dropped Thursday.

The project is described on IMDb as such: “Reboot of the 2000 action comedy based on the 1970s television series. A new generation of private detectives working for the mysterious Charlie.”

In case you had forgotten about the previous versions, here you go:

The original TV show starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith as the angels. David Doyle was Bosley, while John Forsythe provided the voice of their never-seen boss, Charlie.

The 2000 film included as Drew Barrymore, Lucy Lu and Cameron Diaz as the angels and Bill Murray as Bosley. Forsythe was back again.

The latest version stars Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and a pair of relative unknowns, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska. Elizabeth Banks plays Bosley this time around. She also directs and wrote the screenplay.

Pop culture bloggers Tom & Lorenzo were among the first to weigh in on the project: “There’s just something about the idea of three beautiful young super-spies who get to play dress-up and jet all over the world while simultaneously saving it that makes it endlessly, universally appealing.”

Hollywood obviously agrees.

The film is set for release Nov. 15.
