Most of the cast of “Community” reunited for a charity table read.

The cast of “Community” always talked about six seasons and a movie. Well, that movie hasn’t happened yet (but it’s closer to reality now), but the Greendale gang did get back together for a charity table read.

Actress Gillian Jacobs, who was raised in Mt. Lebanon, was among the community college study group for a table read of “Cooperative Polygraphy,” an episode from the show’s fifth season.

Memories flowed freely among the castmates during a question-and-answer session afterwards.

“I think we were lucky to realize that it was special while we were doing it, which you don’t always know it’s the good times when the good times are happening,” said Jacobs, who played Britta. “I just get more sentimental as the years go on.”

The cast has stayed busy since the sixth and final season ended in 2015. Donald Glover, who left during the fifth season, won two Golden Globes for his work on FX’s “Atlanta” and multiple Grammys for his musical career as Childish Gambino.

Notably, Alison Brie stars in Netflix’s “GLOW,” Joel McHale is hosting “Card Sharks” on ABC and Ken Jeong is a panelist on Fox’s “The Masked Singer.”

“Watching it now, I’m like, ‘Oh, this show’s really punk,’ ” said Glover, who played Troy. “Really subversive and like kind of punk. We had so much fun and now I’m like, I want to watch this show again, like it was brand new.”

The event raised funds for Frontline Foods and José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen.
