Fans of Netflix shows can take home props at 3-weekend sale in Marshall
Netflix is offloading its latest batch of leftover props and set decor in greater Pittsburgh.
Fans interested in adorning their homes or businesses with props from the streaming service’s original shows have the chance to choose from thousands of items during a three-weekend liquidation sale that begins Saturday in Marshall Township.
Red-lipped mannequin heads, a green velvet sofa and a rust-stained “Danger” sign are among items going up for grabs at the Nomadic Trading Company’s warehouse on Thornhill Road north of Pittsburgh.
The warehouse will be stocked full of props of all types and sizes, including large items such as refrigerators, furniture, podiums and vending machines from different decades, as well as smaller household goods such as lamp shades, serving trays, votive candles and a quirky array of tiny knick-knacks.
Also for sale: used board games and jigsaw puzzles, cassette tapes, vinyl records, desks, tables, chairs, filing cabinets, benches, commercial trash cans, restaurant booths, kitchen appliances and 1950s-era TV sets, rotary phones and typewriters.
The liquidation sale will be held 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, followed by two more dates, Feb. 9 and Feb. 16, at 150 Thornhill Road.
