Pittsburgh native Michael Keaton is set to reprise his role as Beetlejuice in the sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” which will be released Sept. 6.

Warner Bros. Pictures released the official trailer for the new movie in July.

Keaton, 72, is also known for his portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman in Tim Burton’s “Batman” (1989) and “Batman Returns” (1992).

Born in Coraopolis, Keaton first appeared on television in several episodes of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.” He left Pittsburgh and moved to Los Angeles to start auditioning for more roles.

He will star alongside Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe in the sequel, according to IMDb.

Warner Bros., Roblox and Fandango launched a virtual box office for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” within the online gaming platform — where users 13 and up can purchase movie tickets through the game’s “Escape the Afterlife” experience, Variety reported.

From the lobby, fans can enter one of three immersive worlds, where they need to escape ghouls and rescue characters like Delia and Lydia, and new characters like Astrid, according to Variety.

Roblox users who purchase a ticket will also receive an exclusive avatar item for the game, Variety said.

“We are always looking to engage audiences and amplify our reach in new and exciting ways,” said Cameron Curtis, Warner Bros. executive vice president of global digital marketing, according to Variety. “This first-of-its-kind collaboration with Roblox and Fandango for ‘Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice’ allows for just that.”
