Gwen Stefani (left) will join her real-life paramour Blake Shelton for a concert to be screened exclusively at drive-in theaters on July 25. Here, the pair perform at the 2020 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Evergreen Drive-In Theatre in East Huntingdon is among sites nationwide that will show the first installment of a new drive-in theater concert series from Encore Live.

The July 25 musical event will feature country singer Blake Shelton with special guests Gwen Stefani and Trace Adkins.

Tickets go on sale July 14 at ticketmaster.com.

The all-new, one-night-only concert feature was filmed exclusively for drive-in theaters across the United States and Canada. More Encore Drive-In Nights concerts are planned, with performers and dates still to be announced.

“Amid the covid-19 pandemic, drive-in theaters have proven to be a safe, creative way to deliver fans world-class entertainment, thanks to their ability to engage and delight large groups of people in open-air layouts,” Encore Live said.

“This is such a great way to enjoy music with your family and friends and stay safe,” Shelton said in a release. “I’m excited we’re getting the chance to perform a concert for fans, and we’re going to go back and play old hits like ‘Austin,’ newer songs like ‘God’s Country’ and we might even introduce something brand new.”

Encore Drive-In Nights was created after the production company’s June 27 taped performance by country star Garth Brooks drew more than 350,000 fans to more than 300 drive-ins across North America.

Drive-ins hosting the concerts will adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended guidelines, as well as all state and local health mandates.

Other Western Pennsylvania theaters showing the July 25 concert include the Palace Gardens Drive-In Theatre in Indiana, Indiana County, and the Skyview Drive-In in Carmichaels, Greene County.
