Pittsburgh gets yet another nod in the latest episode of “The Pitt,” when a Penguins logo becomes the punchline of a painfully silly experiment — a don’t-try-this-home branding attempt at wearing hometown pride on one’s chest.

Dr. Frank Langdon and nurse Donnie Donahue treat an unlucky patient with dry-ice burns after his brother tried to brand him on the chest with “the family crest” — the Pittsburgh Penguins logo.

“Why in the world would you ask to have that done to you?” Donnie asks the patient.

“He was trying to brand me with our family crest,” the shirtless patient answers.

The patient’s brother then exposes a branded Penguins logo on his shoulder.

“Your family crest in the Penguins logo?’” Langdon asks.

“We were gonna be bonded for life,” says the patient.

“You already are — with DNA,” retorts Langdon.

The latest episode aired Thursday night on HBO Max.
