Actor Cary Elwes will be part of “The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes” on April 3.

There’s a shortage of perfect Q&A’s in this world, and it would be a pity to miss the one coming to Pittsburgh in April.

Actor Cary Elwes will bring “As You Wish: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes” to Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall on April 3, participating in a screening of the classic comedy “The Princess Bride” along with a Q&A following the film.

Elwes, who recently joined the casts of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and Amazon Prime’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” played the now-iconic role of Westley in “The Princess Bride,” delighting audiences with quick quips and wry glances as he rescued his lady love alongside Fezzik (the late former wrestler Andre the Giant) and Iñigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin).

Elwes will be part of a moderated discussion about the movie’s classic scenes, revealing never-before-shared stories from the production.

“As You Wish” will be at 7:30 p.m., April 3 at the theater, 510 East 10th Ave. in Munhall.

Tickets are $45 to $59. A $150 VIP ticket includes a meet-and-greet with Elwes and a signed copy of his new book “As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of ‘The Princess Bride.’” They are available at LibraryMusicHall.com at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13.
