Steelers receiver Antonio Brown wins inaugural episode of 'The Masked Singer'
The circus has no end.
As the fevered pitch of Antonio Brown’s antics around the Steelers hit a high, we were all introduced to the receiver’s vocal pitch.
Brown, who grabbed headlines with his actions before, during and after Pittsburgh’s last game with the Cincinnati Bengals, now has upped the ante with his borderline singing skills.
Brown was eliminated from the first episode of Fox’s new reality show, “The Masked Singer,” by reprising Bobby Brown’s “My Prerogative.”
The show features celebrities in different over-the-top animal masks in head-to-head competitions.
The show premiered Wednesday and features 12 personalities who are dressed in wild costumes to keep their identities secret. Their speaking voices are disguised to hide their identities.
The six costumed contestants competed in groups of two each singing a song in their real voice. The studio audience then voted to send the winner to the next round.
Brown who was dressed as a Hippo, lost his matchup to the Peacock and was sent with two other battle losers to be voted out by the judges. The five remaining contestants did not have to reveal their identities.
Brown removed the top of his costume and revealed himself.
It’s the second reality show for Brown who also appeared on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” He was eliminated before the final round along with his partner, Sharna Burgess.
Brown was fitted with a hippo mask. No word from Fox officials if he should have been given a horse’s rear end.
