Seeking a gift for the TV fan in your life?

Here’s what to get if they’re always raving about:

DVD box sets: Thousands of TV series are available on streaming services but DVD box sets give fans tangible evidence of their devotion to a program. New complete series sets include “Arrow” ($170 DVD, $190 Blu-ray), “Ballers” ($70), “The Flintstones” ($85 on Blu-ray), “Game of Thrones” ($255 in 4K Ultra HD), “The Good Place” ($70), “Northern Exposure” ($60) and “Veep” ($113), all available at Amazon.com or wherever you buy DVDs.

“Friends”: We’re already into December but you can quickly catch up with the official “Friends” Advent calendar ($30), filled with keepsakes and trinkets, from ornaments to recipe cards. Or there’s “Friends: The Official Cookbook” ($30), offering assorted recipes attributed to the show’s characters including Monica’s Friendsgiving Feast. Available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble or wherever you buy books.

“The Goldbergs”: The real-life Beverly Goldberg, mother of show creator Adam Goldberg and played on TV by Wendi McClendon-Covey, offers an array of recipes in “The Goldbergs Cookbook” ($20), including Shrimp parm (and other parms!), rib pot pie and seven-meat meatloaf. Available at Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.

“The Golden Girls”: Part of the Wayne State University Press “TV Milestones Series,” this slim tome “The Golden Girls” ($20) by Kate Browne offers an academic take on each of the four lead characters in the classic NBC sitcom. Available at Amazon.com.

Hallmark Channel Christmas movies: The cultural impact of Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” can be glimpsed in any Hallmark store (or at Hallmark.com) where Hallmark Channel-branded sweatshirts ($40), mugs ($15), holiday edition Monopoly game ($40), fuzzy socks ($15) and tea towels ($13) can be purchased. Take a trip to a Pennsylvania Fine Wine Good Spirits store to purchase Hallmark Channel-branded wines, Joy (sauvignon blanc) and Jingle (cabernet sauvignon), for $13 a bottle.

“The Mandalorian”: Last year when this Disney+ “Star Wars” series became an instant sensation, there were few products available as producers tried to keep The Child (AKA “Baby Yoda”) a secret before the show’s late November premiere. This year products are plentiful, including Funko POP! vinyl figures of the show’s breakout green character, available in several different styles (usually around $10) at Target, GameStop and Walmart.

Mister Rogers: America’s favorite neighbor from Latrobe continues to inspire devotion as evidenced by the plethora of new products available, including t-shirts ($10-$30) and a “Hi Neighbor” mask ($10) at SteelCity.com, a collection of wooden, painted replicas of locations in The Neighborhood of Make-Believe from “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” ($20 each or sold in sets) via CatsMeow.com and several new books, including the colorfully illustrated board book “It’s You I Like” ($10) and picture book biography “Hello, Neighbor! The Kind and Caring World of Mister Rogers” ($19).

Products based on PBS’s animated preschool spin-off series “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” include Daniel’s blue stuffed animal Tigey ($23 at Amazon) and a ride-on trolley ($40 at Target.com).

“The Office”: They say there “ain’t no party like a Scranton party, ‘cause a Scranton party don’t stop,” and fans can try to replicate that spirit with help from “The Office: The Official Party Planning Committee Guide to Planning Parties” ($30), which includes recipes, office pranks and party game ideas. Available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

“Perry Mason”: Know a fan of the classic “Perry Mason” who doesn’t subscribe to HBO but may be open to HBO’s new take on the TV classic? The first season of HBO’s “Perry Mason” is available on DVD ($25) and Blu-ray ($30). Available at Amazon or wherever you buy DVDs.

“Rick & Morty”: AdultSwim’s cult animated comedy inspired a line of bicycle gear – from jerseys ($80) to bike frames and bicycles ($400-$780) — available online at StateBicycle.com.
