TV Talk: ‘The Pitt’ picks up Golden Globe noms; Manganiello moves home
Best drama Emmy winner “The Pitt” is up for more accolades.
Following last week’s four nominations in the Critics Choice Awards, HBO Max’s “The Pitt” received two nominations in the Golden Globes, including best drama series and best lead actor (Noah Wyle).

Comedian Nikki Glaser will return to host the 83rd “Globes” at 8 p.m. Jan. 11, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Manganiello, O’Connor move home
People magazine reports that Mt. Lebanon native actor Joe Manganiello and his fiancée, actress Caitlin O’Connor, who grew up in Uniontown, have purchased a home in Mt. Lebanon as their new home base, moving back from Los Angeles.
“I’ve never been in a more beautiful neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It’s just idyllic,” O’Connor told People, saying they’ve been thinking about a move home for some time.
O’Connor acknowledged they’ll have to travel to Los Angeles, New York and wherever projects film for work, but they want to make Pittsburgh their home.
O’Connor’s recent Instagram posts included photos of Christmas trees in their Pittsburgh home, including one that’s themed to Carnegie Mellon University, Manganiello’s alma mater.
The pair announced their June 2025 engagement in October after two years of dating.
